We have a range of classes for all ages and abilities.
This is a fun-play session for parent and toddler. Whilst the activity is supervised, the child remains the responsibility of the adult. Coaches are on hand to offer guidance and support.

Children are grouped according to their BG proficiency award scheme level:
Beginner (Awards 8,7,6,5)
Advanced (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
We extend the award scheme by learning skills across all the apparatus used in mens/womens artistic gymnastics.
On Saturday we have mixed groups and focus more on general gymnastics, continuing to work through the BG proficiency award scheme.
These squads are selected by experienced coaches following an initial trial. The gymnasts are chosen because they demonstrate natural physical requirements and have potential to train further. Once in the squad they will be following a training program designed to improve flexibility, strength and co-ordination.
The development phase is from 4.5-7 years, where they train up to 7 hours a week. Once they start training in the year they turn 8, their hours increase to 9-11 per week, this is when they start competing. Regular attendance is very important for gymnasts in these squads, as they need to be fully dedicated from a young age.
Children training in these squads will be invited to represent Cambridge Gymnastics Academy at county, regional and national competitions.
We offer a freestyle classes on a Tuesdays for both 7-15 year olds and 15+, which provides the opportunity to learn or practice skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with the general focus being on a wide range of acrobatic and vault work.
Coaches are on hand to provide advice and guidance throughout the session. The class includes a structured warm up and cool down but participants are free to move around the equipment as they wish during the rest of the session.
Insurance for these classes is provided by British Gymnastics on their Block Registration Scheme and is included in your session fee. You can pay in bulk and get a 10% discount or pay as you go at £6.50. No need to pre book you can just drop in and train.
